Task: 1.Develop Africa content outreach materials; 2. Work closely with Area Studies Outreach Coordinator. Assist with planning and coordination of conferences, workshops and an annual two-week summer Africa Institute for teachers; 3. Co-manage African Studies Resource Website; 4. Travel to schools and other public events to participate in outreach projects; 5. Supply the KU portion of the national African Studies Outreach directory, and regional teacher directories. 6. Other related duties and special projects as assigned, in collaboration with a secretary, a program coordinator, reports to ASRC Director in close coordination with Area Studies Outreach Coordinator 7.
