Elif Andac is an Asistant Professor of Sociology at the University of Kansas. She received her PhD from University of Washington in 2007. She specializes in the areas of political sociology, comparative-historical sociology, social theory and research methods. Her research focuses on state building processes, nationalism, ethnic and religious politics in the Balkans and the Middle East.
