Information on Presentations

Talks

All talks will be given in halls equipped with projectors at 800x600 or better resolution. There will be no slide projectors! (You're not surprised by this, are you)? All talks should be submitted as a PowerPoint file compatible with PowerPoint XP for Windows. If you are using a Mac, please check to see that your file will run correctly on a PC before submitting it (To maintain the same fonts between Mac and PC, on the Tools Menu, under Save Options, include "Embed Fonts")! Movies should be embedded within the PowerPoint file. The computers will use QuickTime and RealPlayer formats.
All presentations for a session will be loaded onto the computer 1 hour before the session begins. Speakers should check with the session chair to make sure that the presentation is loaded correctly.

You may either bring the file on CD and/or ZIP-100 disc, or use a program such as "Fetch" or WSFTP to reach:

FTP'd presentations will be downloaded once each day.You may e-mail Brendan Mattingly the next day to confirm that your presentation has been successfully received and can be read on our computers.
