This is writing class for graduate students who do not have an undergraduate degree in journalism or require additional instruction in cross-platform, multi-discipinary writing. This course promotes understanding of the content, format, organization and effectiveness of standard news and strategic communications messages.  It is designed to improve the quality of each student's writing, as well as strengthen each student's critical and creative thinking abilities.  This course is beneficial regardless of your chosen career path (news (print, broadcast or Internet), advertising, public relations, or media sales and management).
