This script accepts a set of gene names and/or GIDs and/or chromosome regions and returns the location of the associated gene locations, as well as the sequences themselves. Chromosome regions may be specified within "NT", "NM", "NC", and/or "NP" records.

The user may also specify a up- and down-stream offsets from the origin of the requested sequence.

Sequence data is retrieved from NCBI via the NCBI eUtils package.
