2. Describe how M.C. Escher used tessellations in his artwork. Also, list some of the geometric shapes he used. 3. Choose two countries that interest you and compare the styles of tessellations. 4. Think what styles of tessellations you would like to use based on your historical research. Be sure to consider how cultures included their beliefs and symbols in their tessellations. You should take into account the interests and ideas of your group members in creating your tessellation. Pick at least two different styles. 5. Why did you choose these styles? |
