The Latin American History Home Page. This is a branch of H-Net. Particularly useful are the archived book reviews.
The University of Texas Latin American Studies site
Latin American Studies at Tulane University
Latin American Studies in Liverpool. One of the sections lists the staff, their research interests, their publications (including forthcoming) and courses they teach.
Latin American history archives. Divided up into countries and regions, this site gives bibliography and short histories of Latin America.
Recopilacion de leyes de los reinos de las Indias. An on-line edition of one of the compilations of the laws promulgated by the Consejo de Indias, first published in 1681.

There are several sites dealing with indigenous and pre-Columbian topics:
The Nahua. This site has information on Mexican peoples before Cortes.
Becan, about a Mayan archeological site.
Mesoamerican Archeology
Central American Ecological Resources Network. As well as dealing with ecological and habitat questions, this site also offers information on archeology in Costa Rica and Nicaragua.
The Tlahuica. This site is dedicated to the Tlahuica, a tribal group centered in Morelos.
