Accessing University of Kansas E-Reserve System

The "E-Reserve" is accessed from http://www.lib.ukans.edu/electro.html. To get in:

  1. Click "Reserves"; this takes you to a general reserves page

  2. Click "Find E-Reserve Items" in the "Electronic Reserves/Student" section

  3. Select "International Studies" in the "Department" box and click "Go" (you don't need to fill in any of the other information)

  4. Click "INTL 701"; this takes you to a password screen

  5. Enter the password "intl701" [not my choice...in fact this is about as bad password as one could choose, but then we aren't protecting much here...], and click "Accept"

  6. This will bring you to a list of the various items. These are PDF files and can be either downloaded or displayed directly, depending on your browser.
These things look like, well, faxes, since they are faxes. Not great but readable. This seems to work fine, but I've only accessed it from a KU network, so let me know if you run into any problems.
